Berkeley water group is celebrating the achievements of a Berkeley founded social enterprise that we helped launch in 2016!
Pit Vidura provides safe and affordable pit latrine and septic tank emptying services for households in dense urban settlements of Kigali, Rwanda. In the past 24 months, they have served over 850 households in Kigali and prevented 1,700,000 liters of human waste from being disposed of in urban communities.
We are so proud of Pit Vidura's achievements to date and it is a priority for us to continue supporting this project!
