Arriving at the Brower Center
To get the UC Berkeley campus from San Francisco, you may use public transportation (BART, AC Transit) or drive. Click on the map below, and enlarge as necessary to find your route to the UC Berkeley campus.

Transit Information
BART - The one way fare from Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery, or Embarcadero Station in San Francisco to Downtown Berkeley is $3.65. If you embark at 16th Street/Mission Station, the one way fare is $3.75.
On Sunday, embark on a Pittsburg/Baypoint train, transfer at 12th street/downtown Oakland to a Richmond train (it will be waiting directly across the platform) and exit at Downtown Berkeley. Trains run every 20 min. on Sunday.
The train schedule is as follows:
From 16th street: 8:13 am (arrives 8:43am)
From Civic Center(SF): 8:15 am (arrives 8:43am)
From Powell St: 8:17am (arrives 8:43am)
From Montgomery St: 8:18am (arrives 8:43am)
From Embarcadero: 8:20am (arrives 8:43am)
To reach the Brower Center the BART station: Walk south on Shattuck to Allston, then Left on Allston to the intersection with Oxford Street.

Driving and Parking
There will be some street parking available on Sunday and the meters are not enforced.
To get to campus from San Francisco:
- Take Interstate 80 East over the Bay Bridge. Follow the signs toward Berkeley. (I-80E and I-580W are the same road at this point.)
- Exit at University Ave.
(please note: the exit ramps forks, stay to your left to go up on to University Ave.) - Follow University Ave. until it ends at Oxford Street at the foot of campus.
- Turn RIGHT on Oxford to Allston Way.
